music artists

although i listen to a large array of different artists' music,
a few discographies stood out to me the most.
my music taste is quite basic lol but i still thought making this
page would be cool.

the artist's mentioned on this page are not
in order based on how much i like them, they were placed randomly :)

this page looks very weird when viewed on a phone,
because it was meant to be viewed on a 1440×900 screen.

radiohead is an alternative rock and electronic group. formed in the early 1990s,

radiohead gained popularity wtih their single "creep", a track the band doesn't like to this day.

neither am i a big fan of it, but the lyrics do hit i can't lie lol. a group regarded as a good band in both the opinions of

depressed teenagers and music critics. i recommend their music to anyone who has a routine that is slowly killing them :)

      albums:                                         tracks:

all i need
how to disappear completely
subterranean homesick alien
glass eyes
pyramid song
street spirit (fade out)
let down
true love waits
motion picture soundtrack

"you'll go to hell,"

"for what your dirty mind is thinking."

nine inch nails is an industrial rock band that is still active to this day. as of writing this (2025 may), they're even on

tour :D up until 2016, nine inch nails was a one-man-band, with trent reznor writing all of nine inch

nails' music. trent's music often touches on themes of self-destruction, lust, death and regret.

(trent reznor actually had a ghost writer back in 1994. it was me.) as of now, trent and atticus ross usually just make movie soundtracks.

       they're really good actually...

      albums:                                         tracks:

reptile
la mer
sin
every day is exactly the same
echoplex
heresy
were in this together
sunspots

"you are the reason"

"i stay alive."

mitski is an alternative pop, indie rock singer-songwriter. she gained recognition among

alt pop music fans back in 2016, after releasing her album puberty 2, and then again, in the quarantine

when tiktok found some of her songs. mitski's music often touches upon themes of alienation, longing, unrequited love and

mental illness. did you know she wrote her first two albums, lush and retired from sad, new career in business,

       for a school/university project? she's a fucking musical genius.

      albums:                                         tracks:

a burning hill
jobless monday
pink in the night
brand new city
the deal
love me more
shame
geyser
crack baby

"i always wanted to die clean and pretty,"

"but i'd be too busy on working days."

the smashing pumpkins are an alternative rock band. they were established in 1988,

but only really got recognition after the release of siamese dream. billy corgan has a very recognisable voice.

their songs often contain distorted electric guitar, which is often tied into the grunge genre.

i also really like their album covers... if i got anything wrong,

please don't be mad at me lol.

      albums:                                         tracks:

luna
tonight, tonight
pug
bodies
hello kitty kat
we only come out at night
today
ava adore

"love is suicide."

my chemical romance are an alternative rock and pop-punk band.

they were established back in 2001-2002. mcr often sings about death, isolation,

revenge, grief, love... the good stuff :). they gained popularity at around 2004,

with their release of three cheers for sweet revenge. gerard (the singer) is a comic artist.

also, the band actually was created because the lead singer witnessed the 9/11 attacks.

i feel like that's common knowledge, but wanted to share those facts anyways...

      albums:                                         tracks:

demolition lovers
thank you for the venom
sleep
vampire money
early sunsets over monroeville
i don't love you
cemetery drive
cubicles
the ghost of you

"how wrong we were to think,"

"that immortality meant never dying..."

deftones are an alternative metal band. they were established in 1988 and are

still active to this day. deftones often gets lumped into the nu-metal scene with artists like korn, limp

bizkit and kittie, but the band doesn't like the label. i honestly couldn't really describe them as nu metal

either. i think their sound is too experimental and dreamy to be considered nu-metal. chino (the lead singer)

never actually wanted to be a "screamer" or a metal artist but he felt like he needed to get stuff out

       that way. so real...

      albums:                                         tracks:

rosemary
xerces
rx queen
minerva
prince
hole in the earth
lotion
sleep walk
knife prty

"a new cavity moved into my heart today"

kmfdm are an industrial rock band. they were created back in 1984 and are

still active to this day. they had a brief break in 1999 - 2002, due to the media using them as one of the

main reasons/motives behind the columbine shooting, which occured back in 1999, april 20th, which is

the same date kmfdm released their album adios. the band doesn't associate themselves with the

shooting. they're a widely known band in the true crime community. kmfdm stands for

"kein mehrheit für die mitleid" which is translated to "no pity for the majority".

they also have a band called "mdfmk", which is just kmfdm backwards, lol. during their 40, almost 41 years of

making music they have made a fuck ton of albums.

      albums:                                         tracks:

anarchy
blame
bereit
hole in the wall
godlike
i < 3 not
terror
murder my heart
vogue

"the only reason you're still alive"

"is because someone let you live."

hole is a grunge band. hole was established in 1989 because courtney love

was kicked out of a band called faith no more, because she "wasn't hot

enough to be a singer". don't know how true this fact is just heard it somewhere and believed it lol.

hole makes raw and honest songs about womanhood, beauty, self-destruction, death. maybe that's why i relate

so much... a little fun fact: "celebrity skin" was co-written with billy corgan of smashing pumpkins! :)

although courtney love is a very controversial person, her personality as a female rockstar is too

       iconic to not be recognised.

      albums:                                         tracks:

doll parts
dying
phone bill song
plump
petals
teenage whore
reasons to be beautiful
nobody's daughter
miss world

"they say i'm plump,"

"but i throw up all the time..."
