PERSONAL NOTE:
maybe you have noticed that i reference zero day
multiple times on my homepage. i have the image of
their crosses being burnt there and cal’s poem linked.
well, that’s because in a pretty fucked up way, this movie
serves as a comfort piece for me. i love the found
footage, suburban and indie aspect of it, and since i’m
pretty involved in the true crime community, i love the
true crime and drama aspect of it. ben coccio did a really
great job writing characters inspired by eric and dylan.
he really captured the relationship between them well. he
didn’t go the route of “the leader” and “the follower”
which i really like, since that’s something a lot of people
get wrong about columbine.
